Directions and Technical Information

Sermons are stored here in the popular MP3 audio format. If your computer is configured properly, you should be able to click on the "Listen" link to hear them or on the "Download" link to download the MP3 file to your computer. The "Windows Media Player" program, which now comes free with Windows 98 and above, is all you need.

Note that it may take a minute or two for your computer to begin playing after you click on the "Listen" link.

If your computer will not play the sermon when you click "Listen," try clicking on "Download" instead.

If your computer plays a sermon instead of downloading when you click the download link, try right-click instead.

If these steps do not help, you will have to find some local support or search on the Internet for more help. Mount Calvary Baptist Church is not able to provide technical support for users unable to listen to these sermons.

Note that many of these sermons are available for purchase on CD in MP3 format. These disks will only play in computer CD-ROM drives and MP3 CD players. They will not play in ordinary CD players. If you are interested in purchasing a portable MP3 CD player for listening to these sermons on MP3 CD, the on-line store "MP3 Player Store" has some good deals on players we have been quite happy with. Of course you should do your own shopping around and make a wise decision.

Technical note: The Listen link is an M3U file and the Download link is the MP3 file. The audio is sampled at 16K with constant sample rate.

All sermons available here are for personal use only and may not otherwise be copied or rebroadcast without permission from Mount Calvary Baptist Church. For information, please contact info@mountcalvarybaptist.org.
